Jon Wood
CD:
One To Five
Label: Orange Sky
Rating:

Genre: Mixed
Wood is a talented guitarist, no doubt about it.
Not a bad lyricist either. He hails from the U.K.
This album is one you can put on while you stoke up a fire and poor some
wine. Some quality laid back background music, and a serious listen if
you’re into finger picking acoustic guitar. Lots of
nuance and style. Also notable are the contributions of numerous
singers, male and female, as well as Eamon
McLoughlin on violin (The
Greencards). I can’t say anything bad about this record, because
there is nothing bad about it. It’s very nicely done.
