Norman Davis has been fascinated by radio since he was a tiny tot. He made
his first appearance on the "magic box" at the age of 5, playing his violin
on a radio show sponsored by his grandmother's church. In his teens, he
created parodies of radio shows with his sisters.
At 18, he got his first job at Boise, Idaho's KGEM.  Later he worked in
Spokane, San Francisco, Denver, Kansas City, Portland, Los Angeles and a few
other places.
In addition to his DJ shows, Norman has produced a wide variety of special
programs and features including; the long-running blues program, Midnight
Flyer; a humorous series of children's programs, a series on UFO's, the
pioneering American punk show, "The Outcastes", a  series featuring world
music, a series on the news, music and trivia of America, year by year, a
4th of July Special, a Halloween special, a series on the originators of
Rock & Roll, and others.
Davis continues to produce Midnight Flyer, now in its 8th year, special
holiday programs and other features on occasion. He also writes reviews and
features for several periodicals and is webmaster for four web sites.

Midnight Flyer

is a two-hour program that features a wide variety of blues, interviews and stories about the blues. It is broadcast to a small network of stations around the country and is available at low cost to interested stations. Programs are delivered weekly on two compact discs, with music lists and cues.

Each program hour includes three breaks of 4:10 each, allowing three :10 station breaks and 12 commercial minutes per hour--eight for local stations, and four for the producers.

A demo show and informational packet is available to any authorized station representative on request.
