I started my radioshow in 1994 first for "Radio Neckarburg" and 1996 I
moved to "Radio ISW".
This station covers the region from Munich to the Austrian border. My weekly show "Folk & Country Corner" on thursday from 7.pm.til 8.p.m draws a wide line around Americana / Roots.
Favorites are Bluegrass, Singer & Songwriter, alt.Country, Roots Rock, Folk. Beside the weekly mix I also do evening specials from time to time on styles or artists and present live guests.
Through my background as a professionel concert promoter for over 25 years, first a Club in Villingen (Blackforest) and now an "Arts Center" in Waldkraiburg near Munich (Bavaria)I worked with a lot of artists from the "Americana / Roots" genre organizing tours and promoting concerts. It was always important for me to present good music in the best way possible and to give the artist a "home". That's also the theme for my show that the artists' music is in good and competent hands and that it will be featured in the best way possible.
A lot of artists who perform at our center or in the area stop by for the show i.e. Tish Hinojosa, Jack Hardy, Front Range, Steve Young, Special Consensus, Lost Highway ,Eric Taylor, Rod MacDonald, Slaid Cleaves, Julian Dawson.
Beside the job and the radio I also write for several magazines(Bluegrass Buehne, Strictly Country)
