Thom Shepherd Celebrates Release Of Texas Girls
Singer’s New CD Hits Streets Today
Nashville, TN (April 19, 2011) – Singer/Songwriter Thom Shepherd and good friend Jimmy Mauric, who also happens to be Shiner Beer’s brewmaster, celebrated the release of Shepherd’s new CD Texas Girls with a toast of the brewery’s classic Shiner Bock. Released on the Smith Entertainment label Texas Girls is a ten song collection, sung by the artist that wrote them and each destined to make an impact on the Texas/Red Dirt Music Scene (one of the songs, “Beer Season”, is already a hit from Texas Music stalwart Kevin Fowler). The CD also features guest vocals by Fowler, Roger Creager and Jason Allen.
Texas Girls hits stores today and is available at all Hastings, Lonestar Music, Amazon, AEC One Stop, various convenient and western stores. The songs are also available for download on Itunes, Amazon.com, Napster, Walmart.com, TouchTunes, Play Network and AMI Entertainment.
Between performances this week at the Cheatham Street Warehouse in San Marcos, where he will share the stage with Brandon Rhyder, and Cadillac Pizza in McKinney, Thom will be visiting radio stations to talk about Texas Girls first single. Written by Shepherd and Larry Center, "App For That" was released to radio just s few short weeks ago and is already making an impact on the Texas/Red Dirt Charts.
