A deep, burly voice might be expected from a Southern bluesman pushin’ 70, but the swagger Memphis singer/guitarist Daddy Mack Orr delivers sounds- to borrow a phrase from this set- “half his age”.  He’s armed with solid originals, written by producers Eddie Datel and Wally Ford, and supported by deliciously deep blues backup.  Drummer “Fast” Eddie Lester stands out in the band and the tracks “Blues Doctor”, “Daily Blues” and “Memphis Gives Me The Blues” are strong airplay candidates.
