Hailing from the same brawny soul-rocker vocal regions as does Popa Chubby, Voo Davis matches that muscle when working his axe and displays a considerably varied burners-to-ballads songwriting range as well.  The Chicago-based guitarist also shows a goodly amount of acoustic prowess alongside his high-voltage electric work.  Along with the title track, the deceptively titled, exceptionally nasty  “My Love” stands out, as do “When I Get Back To You” and “Low Hangin’ Fruit”.
