Possessed of first-rate chops and pipes, British Columbian blues rocker David Gogo ups the ante with a vivid streak of pop flair, shown on solid readings of Neil Young’s “The Loner” and Annie Lennox’s “Why”.  That touch shows as well on the guitarist’s own “What’s Not To Like”.  Seriously smokin’ fretwork is abundant throughout the set as exemplified on another cover, Stephen Stills’ “Jet Set (Sigh)”.
