Solid enough in their West Coast-style swing blues groove (“When I Say Jump”, “Poppin’ At Party Time”) this Toronto five-piece ups the ante with equally sure-footed forays into rockabilly (“B Flat Kat”), mid-tempo blues balladeering (“I Work For You”) and straight-ahead roots-rock (“Juke Joint Jimmy”). Lead vocalist/guitarist Kevin McQuade graces these styles and more with reliably genre-savvy song crafting.  Keyboardist Wayne Dagenais is an ear-grabbing piano pumper.
