Vocalist Crystal Shawanda predictably and reliably scorches and powers her way through a suitably tailored soul-and-blues set.  Her sultry, drag-tempoed workup of Willie Dixon’s “Evil” should garner attention as should the self-penned title track and Kimberly Rew’s lyrically smart “That’s Just the Woman In Me’.
