Papermoon Gypsys have been around since 2013 with Lexi G at the helm co-fronted by guitarist/songwriter Kenny "Big Daddy" Williams (radio host, music store owner, writer/producer). This album was written from a blues base and has won 2 LA Critics Awards for Best Blues Artist and fan Favorite. It has gotten a lot of airplay online but is still trying to break into the mainstream market. Because the album was so eclectic, it makes it hard to pigeon hole but that's also the beauty of it. It shows the band versatility. Backed by drummer Ray Weston (Wishbone Ash, Iron Butterfly), Albert Margolis (Meters) on Keys and local favorite Tony Robin on bass this band shines in their live performances. They are coming out with a live album in the next couple of months, with great anticipation from their fans.
