Sir Rod & The Blues Doctors
Oxford - Mississippi - United States

Sir Rod & The Blues Doctors is a dynamic blues trio featuring Rod Patterson on vocals, Adam Gussow on amplified harmonica and foot drums, and Alan Gross on guitar.  Patterson is the nephew of Sterling "Mr. Satan" Magee, Gussow's longtime partner in the W. C. Handy Award nominated duo Satan & Adam.  (Magee and Gussow are featured in the Netflix documentary Satan & Adam [2018].)  SRBD's debut album, Come Together, features the music of Satan & Adam, plus R&B and funk classics like "What'd I Say" and "I Feel Good."  It also includes a remake of Magee's composition "Freedom For My People," which was featured in U2's Rattle and Hum album and film.  The lead single, "Come Together," is a Patterson/Gussow original and has recently become the theme song for the Common Ground Committee, a citizen-led nonprofit seeking to create social justice through dialogue
