Not yet out of his teens, Adam Schultz shows convincing signs that he could be a formidable presence in the contemporary blues scene before much more time passes.  Teamed up with mentor and album co-producer, blues master Clarence Spady, the NYC-born guitarist displays a wise-beyond-his-years knack on his axe and equal sophistication as a songwriter.  Blended in with a handful of well-executed covers are the young cat’s own stylish, very attention-worthy soul/blues offerings.  Standouts include “Good Conversation”, “Harlem Tonight” and guest vocalist Eket Pereya’s feature “Have Some Faith”, co-written by Aviva Verbitsky.  Studio accompaniment is sharp throughout.
