Vocalist CeCe Gable enlists a solid quartet of Alan Broadbent (piano), Harvie S (bass), Roni Ben-Hur (guitar) and Matt Wilson (drums) to present a song set of light, love, peace and joy.  The hopeful messages of optimism are much appreciated, whether CeCe is vocalizing the self-penned “Next Year’s Song,” Latinesque “From Me to You” or classics like “Come Rain or Come Shine” or “My Romance.” This approach helped the album reach #3 on The Roots Music Report's Top 50 Traditional Jazz Album Chart in mid-May 2022.

CeCe Gable has a marvelous sense of swing and good timing that allow her to be alluring, compelling and rousing. While not a high-pitched singer, Gable gets the most from her intimate, insightful voice by phrasing lyrics with grace, charm and charisma. Tracks like “No Moon at All,” “Like a Lover,” “Moments Like This” and “Two for the Road” offer ear-grabbing convergence of vocal and lyrical intensity over a foundation of solid instrumental support.
