There’s no let-up in Casey Hensley’s high-powered “live” set, featuring covers tailor-made for the California singer’s full-throttled vocals and hard-chargin’ posture as well as some very respectable originals.  The leadoff track, Big Mama Thornton’s “Big Mama’s Coming Home” sets Ms. H up well for her own smoldering slow blues “Put Your Lovin’ Where It Belongs.”  Other classic gems include “You Can Have My Husband” and “I Put A Spell On You”.  Hensley’s ballad “Don’t Want It To Stop” and the set closer, “Ball And Chain” stand out as well.  Guitarist Laura Chavez’s solid axework in a constant throughout.
