Son of renowned accordionist Rockin’ Dopsie, Dwayne (Rubin) Dopsie delivers unvarnished swamp soul with relentless drive, supercharging his solos in ballad mode as well as on hard driving fare.  His band, The Zydeco Hellraisers, live up to their name, matching the boss’s energy on standout tracks including “Harry’s Creole Bar”, “Sweet Lil Sha Bae Bae”, and “Such A Good Man”. Also of note is a compelling solo piece, “Chain Gang Worker Blues”.
