Hardly a newcomer to the blues-rock music world, Mark Easton returned in 2020 with new solo album called Free Yourself. Described as a spirited mix of blues, rock, Celtic, World Music and roots rock music, the 11-track CD is a stellar showcase for Mark’s vocals, songs and burning guitar skills. In addition, Free Yourself finds Mark playing all the drums, bass, loops and some harmonica too, while the album features back up vocals from Diane Easton and Linda Kobin. Mostly all originals, Free Yourself also features a some choice blues rock vocals too. As Mark has recently said, the virus pandemic scare has put a crimp in his touring plans, yet with an album as strong and entertaining as Free Yourself, it won’t be long till Mark Easton is right back out there at the forefront of the 21st century world of progressive blues-rock. Fans of key bands like Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top will totally enjoy the diverse blues and rock energy of Mark Easton’s Free Yourself.
