For the past 20 years, the name Brian Tarquin has been synonymous with high-quality guitar music. Dozens of instrumental guitar releases later, Brian is back with a new collection on his BHP Music label. Released in 2020, Vegas Blue is a powerful instrumental and hard rock vocal album featuring some of the biggest names in the rock fusion guitar world.  With Brian’s rhythm and lead guitars and bass work anchoring the album, Vegas Blue features guitar spotlights from a range of top-notch talents including Trey Gunn, Steve Morse, Hal Lindes, The Flyin’ Ryan Brothers and more, including Phil Naro (vocals), Chris Ingram (bass, keys) and a pair of drummers. Brian’s latest work is quite commendable as Vegas Blue is a charitable effort for the victims of the notorious 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas. Speaking  to the press about his 2020 album release Brian states, “This release is dedicated to the victims of the tragic events that occurred at  the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas October 1, 2017. All of our hearts and prayers go out to them and their families. Through this music we have tried to creatively express our deepest feelings.”  With so many great guitarists and other musicians featured on the 11-track Vegas Blue, one can only commend Brian Tarquin for his guitar leadership on this tribute album dedicated to the victims and their families still reeling in the wake of this American nightmare.
